George Everest Trek

In April, rhododendrons are in full bloom & the oak in purple new leaf and from October onwards, one gets a front seat view of the spectacular Mussoorie winter line. Benog Tibba Nature Trail

The trek to Benog Hill starts from Clouds End, which is about 7 km from Library Chowk, Mussoorie. Bhadraj Hill Day Trek

An adventurous & challenging hike, the trek to the Bhadraj Hill is one of the best day treks near Mussoorie region. One can start this day trek from Hathipaon or Clouds End to reach a scenic village Dudhli from where the final ascend to Bhadraj Hill starts. This trail provides a stark contrast of bald grassy slopes on the south & thickly forested mountains on the north. The best part of this hike is an almost flat forest walk for about 700m before reaching the Bhadraj mountain. There are also some gujjar huts & small flat grassy patches on the way where one can take rest. There is a Bhadraj Temple on the mountain top.

This route was formerly used to reach Mussoorie from Dehradun. You will see that the route still has checkpoints marked, as well as old temples and ashrams. People hardly walk this trail anymore, apart from the occasional nature lover, and you will enjoy the perfect solitude all by yourself. The trail starts from the Old Rajpur Road, and ends at the Old Toll Road. The hike up is quite steep and about 8km long; it should take you two hours to reach to Mussoorie
