The Beaches

The beaches of Goa will always top the list of any tourist. There are many of them to choose from as well, from the North to the South. Select wisely because you cannot possibly visit them all. North Goa beaches are busier with a lot more activities, parties, and shopping. The beaches in the south are more serene and peaceful. There is more nature in the South too. Relax on the beach at a shack, get a massage, enjoy food and drinks, and go for a swim.

Water Sports in goa

Kayaking in the backwaters of Goa could be an experience of a lifetime. Gently glide through the calm waters as you get close to the birds, bats, and the occasional dolphins. This tranquil experience will give you beautiful memories. You can see the villages, churches, and the daily life of the Goanese people as well.

Whitewater Rafting in Goa

If you want more excitement and adventure, then why not try whitewater rafting. Take on the challenge and ride over the rapids. It is sure to give you an adrenalin rush. There is whitewater rafting in Goa at many places – Valpoi River, Mhadei River, and the Mandovi River. The cost will be between 1,500-2,000 INR per person, which includes basic lessons, safety briefing, lifejackets, and rafting gear.

Best time for whitewater rafting – Themonsoon season between June and September when the rapids are the wildest.

Scuba Diving in Goa


Head to Grande Island near Vasco da Gama for a day of swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving! Equipment is available on hire. There is basic training as well. Explore the many famous dive sites and ship wrecks, or just skim the surface to see colorful marine life. You can finish the day with a barbecue. Snorkeling is also available at Bogmalo Beach in South Goa.

Best time for snorkeling, scuba diving – Between November and April.

Dolphin Tour in Goa

Go on a boat trip for a chance to come face to face with the amazing dolphins. You can see dolphins close to the shore at many places in Goa, like Candolim, Calangute, Sinquerim, and the Varca Beach. You can see them also at Grande Island, and sometimes even in the rivers. There is such a high chance of a sighting that many operators offer ‘no dolphin, no pay’ service.

Cruising in Goa

There is cruising on the Mandovi River and on the Sal River in the south. There are all types of cruises to select from, such as dinner cruises with Goan music, food, singing, and dancing. Goa Tourism Department runs popular river cruises, but there are also private operators. Try a candlelight dinner cruise for a more private and memorable experience. There are 1 hour and 2 hour river cruises and sunset cruises as well. You can also go on a backwater or a houseboat cruise, or hire a yacht or catamaran for a few hours or the entire day for exclusive cruising.

Best time for cruising – Throughout the year, except the monsoon. Cruising is most popular in the winter season, though.

Spice Plantation in Goa

Witness the aroma of spices, and learn how they are grown at the spice plantations in Goa. See some exotic spices that became India’s first exports. See cardamom, Peri Peri, which is one of the world’s hottest chilies, and more. You will also see many exotic birds. A spice plantation is a photographer’s delight. Ride an elephant or splash water with them, giving them a bath. Before leaving, enjoy a traditional Goan lunch that is cooked with farm spices.

Paragliding In Goa

Paragliding is a fun and adventure sport for the thrill seekers. You can enjoy paragliding at Arambol beach in north Goa for just 3,000 INR an hour. There are shorter duration trips as well. Take off after some basic instructions and safety check and glide gently up in the sky, helped by your instructor, of course. The flight will actually start from a cliff between the Arambol and Harmal beaches. See wonderful views of the sea, the cliffs, beach, and the countryside of Goa.

Best time for paragliding – Anytime of the day except late afternoon when the wind may pick up. Avoid the monsoons months – June, July, and August.

Casino Gambling in Goa

Goa is the only place in India where gambling is legal. You can try your luck at roulette, slots machines, Indian Flush, poker, black jack, baccarat, and other games. There is live music and dancing, Russian dancers, stand-up comedy shows, and separate entertainment zones for the kids as well. Deltin Royale, Casino Paradise, Deltin Jaqk, Casino Carnival, Casino Pearl, Casino Pride, and Casino Paradise are some of the biggest names.

Goa Party on the Beach

When in Goa, you have to party on the beach. In North Goa, choose from Baga, Candolim, Calangute, and Anjuna. St. Anthony’s Bar in Baga is a great place from where you can see glorious sunsets. There is live music at Curlie’s and Café Lilliput in Anjuna. In the South, Cavelossim and Palolem are hot party destinations. Many beach shacks are transformed into nightclubs after dark, so you can party right on the beach. There are other beach parties as well, playing trance music.

Unleash the Hippie in You

Goa became famous in the 1960s and 1970s as a hippie destination. The hippie culture is mostly gone now, but you can still get a henna tattoo, braid your hair, and make dreadlocks to bring out the free hippie spirit within you. It’s good to unleash, break free sometimes, and let your wild side out. Goa is just the right place for an image makeover.

Day 1 - Delhi (Arrival)

The first day of your golden triangle and Goa tour will begin from the capital of India, Delhi. Our IHPL representatives will escort you to your hotel from the Airport/ railway station. Rest for today and prepare your mind for a wonderful journey ahead. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can stroll around the local market or savor delicious delicacies.

Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Delhi.


Day 02: Delhi

After enjoying breakfast, embark on the sightseeing tour of Delhi. The national capital comprises a plethora of tourist attractions and you will visit the famous places included:

Laxmi Narayan Temple: It is renowned as Birla Mandir which was built by the famous industrialist J.K.Birla in 1938. It is one of the revered temples of Delhi which exhibits a unique architectural style.

Qutub Minar: This UNESCO World Heritage was built by Qutb-Ud-Din Aibak in the 12th Century. The Qutub Minar complex comprises several other ancient structures among which the Iron Pillar and Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque are the most famous.

Bahai Temple: It is popularly known as Lotus Temple. This magnificent edifice is dedicated to the Baha'i faith. The temple is open to all regardless of their nationality, religion, race, and gender. The enchanting architecture can captivate anyone. (Monday closed) After this, you will drive by the India Gate, Parliament House, and Chanakya Puri - an area where all the embassies and the high commissions are located.

Red Fort: This historical fortification was built by Shahjahan and it was once the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty. This fort is an architectural marvel and a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Monday Closed).

Old Fort: Formerly called as Shergarh & Sher Fort, Old Fort is one of the oldest forts in Delhi. It was built in 1648 by Shahjahan. This is a masterpiece of ancient times and one can experience the beauty of the bygone era of the Mughal Empire here.

Rajghat: This memorial is dedicated to Mahatama Gandhi. There is an eternal flame burns at one end of the memorial. There are several other memorials situated in the vicinity of Raj Ghat.

Humayun's Tomb: It is a final resting place of Mughal Emperor Humanyun and it was built by his widow, Queen Haji Begum in the 16th century. This splendid edifice is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is renowned for its magnificent architecture.

Later, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in New Delhi.


Day 03: Delhi - Agra

On the third day of your tour, we shall move towards the romantic city of Agra via road. Once we reach Agra, you will check-in at the hotel and spend some relaxing moments with your loved ones.

We will then proceed towards a sightseeing tour of Agra city which will cover the majestic Taj Mahal which is considered to be the most romantic buildings in the world and the Agra Fort from where the powerful Mughals used to rule. Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is situated on the bank of the River Yamuna, from here you can witness the enchanting beauty of the Taj Mahal.

You will also get an opportunity to visit the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah, the tomb is famous because it is a miniature version of the Taj Mahal. It is known as the draft of the Taj Mahal or the 'Baby Taj' in the local language.

Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Agra.


Day 04: Agra – Jaipur

Today after having your baronial breakfast, you will leave for the Pink City of Jaipur. We will visit the architecturally wonderful city of Fatehpur Sikri which was built by Akbar in memory of Khwaja Salim Uddin Chishti on the way to Jaipur. This small city contains many architectural delights like the Buland Darwaza, Birbal Bhavan, Jodha Bai Palace, and the Jama masjid. The intricate artwork detailed on the stone in these historical monuments will leave you awe-stricken. Buland Darwaza is the highest gateway in the world and a perfect example of Mughal architecture. Jama Masjid is the 17th Century mosque and one of the most sought pilgrimage site.

After the exploration of the Fatehpur Sikri, you will continue your journey to Jaipur. Upon your arrival, you will have an assisted check-in at your hotel. The rest of the time is at your leisure. You can explore the nearby market of the hotel and soak in the vibrant aura of Jaipur.


Day 05: Jaipur

After having breakfast, get ready for the sightseeing tour of Jaipur city. Today you will visit the famous Amer fort, where you can enjoy an elephant ride till the entrance of the fort. The fort is an epitome of Rajputana style of architecture and after you take in the beauty of this splendid fort, we will proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jaipur which covers the Jantar Mantar (ancient planet observatory built by the king himself) Nawab Sahab ki Haveli, the Hawa Mahal (belt for the royal ladies to see the royal processions and the city life of Jaipur) and then you will be taken to the local bazaars of Jaipur so that you can buy the souvenir for your loved ones.

Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.


Day 06: Jaipur - Goa

After having some sumptuous breakfast you will embark on a journey towards Goa by taking a flight from Jaipur Airport.

Upon your arrival in Goa, you will have an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can go to the beach and take a stroll. Spend the romantic evening with the love of your life at the beachside or take evening walks and savor local delicacies on the beachside with your loved ones. You can explore the local market of Goa or enjoy the nightlife here. Anjuna flea market is a famous night market in Goa from where you can buy some souvenirs for yourself and your loved ones.

Return to the hotel after the stroll. Overnight stay at the hotel in Goa.


Day 07: Goa

On the 7th day of the tour, you will go for a half-day sightseeing tour of Old Goa.

Old Goa still has some Portuguese charm as Goa was once a famous Portuguese colony. The churches and cathedrals built by the Portuguese are still mesmerizing, we will visit the Se Cathedral, Basilica of Bom Jesus and Church of Saint Francis of Assisi.

Basilica of Bom Jesus is one of the oldest churches in Goa. Here you can catch a glimpse of the casket of St. Francis of Assissi.

Se Cathedral is one of the largest churches in Goa. It was built in 1510 and is renowned for the Golden Bell which is believed to be one of the best in the world.

Saint Francis of Assisi is a Roman Catholic Church that was built by the Portuguese. The intricate sculptures and artifacts of the church are famous.

The evening will be at your leisure to explore the nightlife of Goa.

Day 08: Goa

Today's day is booked for a full-day tour of the beaches of Goa. Allow the silky smooth sands of Goa and the sparkling water of this beautiful beach paradise weave its magic on you. You can visit Calangute Beach, Candolim Beach, Baga Beach, and Vagator Beach. There are plenty of water sports activities that you can do in Goa such as snorkeling, jet-skiing, surfing, parasailing, scuba diving, banana boat ride, and many more. Enjoy the majestic beauty of the beaches and you can savor the local delicacies on the beachside with your loved ones. Take a long walk or soak in the warmth of the sun. Enjoy your day at the beachside.

Day 09: Goa Departure

Flea Market usually open in the evening therefore these sightseeing on the last day before Departure is not possible.

Post Breakfast you will proceed to Goa Airport for your onward destination.

Terms And Conditions

Payments: For all the services contracted, certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on confirmed basis & the balance amount can be paid either before your departure from your country or upon arrival in INDIA but definitely before the commencement of the services. Management personnels hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service & the time left for the commencement of the service.

Apart from above in some cases like Special Train Journeys, hotels or resorts bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year), full payment is required to be sent in advance.

Mode of Payment: Overseas advance payment can be made through Wire Transfer to our bank.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 45 days prior to arrival: 15% of the Tour / service cost
  • 15 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
  • 07 days prior to arrival: 75% of the Tour / service cost
  • 48 hours prior to arrival OR No Show: No Refund

Note: Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on Sunday's will be considered on next working day (Monday).

For the X-mas and new year period from 20 Dec to 05 Jan the payment is non-refundable.

In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

Trekking, Tour and adventure actives in Himalayan region carry an inherent risk to life and goods. The natural calamities may cause injury and loss of life, which is beyond any control. Tour Uttarakhand does its best to minimize all types of risks, discomfort and hazard to the best of their ability, yet there are chances of accidents, mishaps and deficiency in service.


  • Any delay from the customer’s side will lead to cancellation of trek/ tour/ adventure activities.
  • Trekking Tour Adventure maybe cancelled due to some unavoidable circumstances i.e- weather condition, govt. notification, land sliding or any other natural calamity.
  • Trekking in Uttarakhand reserves the right to discontinue, modify any trek, tour & adventure activities without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever.
  • Anybody found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs medically or physically unfit (any serious ailment, weak heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, expecting mothers etc.) unfit for any reasons in the wisdom of the trek leader/guide/instructor will not be allowed for trekking /tour/ adventure activities. Request for a refund or a discount in such situation will not be entertained. Decision of the trek lead/guide/management in this regard would be final.
  • Total decided package cost will not be affected if there is any reduction in the number of persons
  • Minimum required 50% of amount to get confirmed the trek/tour/adventure activities.
