Badrinath To Kedarnath Trek
This is a historic trek route, where many of the trekkers lost their way for ever. Panpatia Col is a snow lamented belt, beautiful for the views all around. More than the beauty here, this route is a challenge for all the trekkers. You will get a guide now, but ten years before now, the route has been a total mystery. The route connects two of the top Hindu pilgrimage points, Kedarnath and Badrinath. The route is one of the highest pass in the Himalayas, where Panpatia glacier will have to be crossed. Top peaks surround the cold belt will seem to be like monsters. This place is called the labyrinth of Himalayas. There are different mythological mysteries related to the place. Nilkantha, Balakun and Kunaling are the top among all, although Januhat to Ransi are all crowded at the corner. The route is so challenging that you will feel nervous. If you gave taken a guide, then there is no reason to feel shaky – just enjoy the beauty, nature has preserved there for you.
A historic route connecting two holy spots: The journey through this trek seems to be like a path through a grapevine, with so many things to do. Start the journey from Madhmaheshwar, the temple spotted to be built by the Pandavas. It is better to trek the route in the summers, since monsoon and winter turns out the area to be very much risky. It is the glacier of Panpatia and is a wide area that becomes really rough in the monsoons. Snow fall in winter is again treating for even the expert trekkers too. In summer, you will find a day temperature here around 8 degrees centigrade and at night it goes down till -10 or -15. Maidagala Tal at the end part of the trek is really aspiring one for you. Get there and find the decent weather condition in summer and autumn.
The trek route here is tough and is not at all fit for novice trekkers. However, you will like to get to the spot and find the natural beauty. Although mountains and snows will seem here to be villain, but Nature Goddess is ever ready to escort you to her home. The serene beauty on all sides will make your mind filled with tranquillity, when you get the spare time at the camp. The night sky with the shining peaks especially when moon light sparkles on the top will take you to a distant dreamy location. It is a valley which is noted to be covered by the priest of Kedarnath and Badrinath in a day. However, it took him long time to travel and with the blessings of Lord Shiva, a route was made for him and the rest part was totally spoiled to form a labyrinth. Myths say that they are created by lord alone, so that no one else can find the path again.

Day 1: Delhi To Haridwar To Rishikesh
In the morning transfer to the Delhi railway station and board the AC trains for Haridwar that departs at 06:50 AM. Upon arrival at Haridwar, you will meet our representative and transfer to Rishikesh and check into the hotel. The evening time is free in which you can travel around the city to explore the local attractions and also go for some shopping. We will be staying overnight at a hotel in Rishikesh.
Day 2: Rishikesh To Joshimath (1875 M)
In the morning after having breakfast, we will drive to Joshimath through Rudraprayag, Devprayag, and Chamoli. On the way, we will halt at a restaurant for the lunch. After reaching Joshimath you will check-in to the hotel. We will be staying overnight at a hotel in Joshimath.
Day 3: Joshimath To Badrinath (3133 M)
Today after having breakfast in the morning, we will drive towards. After you reach at Badrinath check-in to the hotel and get some rest. Later in the evening, we will visit the prominent Badrinath Temple. We will trek for about 20 minutes to reach the campsite. We will be staying overnight in the camp.
Day 4: Badrinath To Shepherd Camp
On this day, we will trek towards the Shepherd Camp. We will ascend up to the tree line, which is marked by flags on the boulders. After trekking for a while we will reach our campsite which is situated at a position from where you get the spectacular the views of the surrounds. We will be staying overnight in the camp.
Day 5: Shepherd Camp To Snout Camp
Today, we will be trekking on the combination of terrains. During the trail, we will take a moderate uphill hike to precipitous climbs in order to reach the snout of the spectacular Panpatia glacier. We will be staying overnight in the camp.
Day 6: Snout Camp To Moraine Camp (4300 M)
Today, trekking we will be for a longer duration but it will be a moderate one trek with some gentle ascends on the trail. We will cross the moraines and traverse the patches of snow. Our reward for today’s trekking will be the fabulous views of the towering Himalayan Mountains. We will be staying for the night in the Moraine Camp.
Day 7: Rest & Acclimatize (4300 M)
This entire day is all for having some rest and acclimatization before the start of the trek. We will be staying for the night in the camp.
Day 8: Moraine Camp To Base Of Parvati Col
Today, we will start our next trekking destination will be the base of Parvati Col. To reach Parvati Col. We will pass through the Panpatia Snow Field. The trekking pathway involves precipitous inclines. We will be camping just below the Parvati Col. We will be staying for the night in the camp.
Day 9: Base Of Parvati Col To Panpatia Snowfield – Camp
After having wholesome breakfast, we will move ahead and climb to the edge of the terrace from where the only way to go upwards is through a vertical gully which is covered with rock and snow. From the spot, we will be able to see the magnificent Chaukhamba Peak,and if fortunate; we might also see the captivating Nanda Devi Peak. We will be staying for the night in the Panpatia Snowfield.
Day 10: Camp I To Across Panpatia Col (5260 M) To Camp At Sujal Sarovar (4750 M)
On this day of our trek, we will pass through a snow plateau to reach Panpatia Col (5260 M). Moving ahead is a precipitous descent that will lead to the Madhyamaheshwar watershed. We will be camping overnight beside a small lake of Sujal Sarovar.
Day 11: Sujal Sarovar To Kachni
After having wholesome breakfast, we will start our trek towards Kachni. To reach Kanchi we will be trekking through sloped and rock-strewn zones through a small pass located above the Sujal Sarovar. After trekking for some time, we will reach our camp site. The campsite faces the Madhmaheshwar Ganga, and also from here one can see the temple below and the lights of Guptkashi. We will be staying for the overnight in the camp.
Day 12: Kachni To Nanu Chatti
On this day, we will trek to the Madhmaheshwar temple, which will take around (3 to 4) hours. We will visit the temple and will have lunch at a nearby tea shop. After having lunch, we will hike through the forests to our camp situated at Nanu chatty, which is a small settlement of the summer homes for people from the villages of Gaundhar. We will be staying for the overnight in the camp.
Day 13: Nanu Chatti To Ransi
Today is the last day of trekking. On this day, we move downwards passing through the dense pine forests to arrive at the bank of Madhmaheshwar Ganga. At Ransi
Day 14 : Ransi to Saniyara Kharak
After healthy breakfast start trek to Sanyara Kharak , quite ascend from Ransi Village, from top view ,we can see majestic eye bird view of Ransi Village & Kedar Valley.Night Stay in Camp.
Day 15 : Saniyar Kharak to Paturi
We will ascend the trail here by leaving Sanyara behind and the trek will proceed to the Paturi at an altitude of about 3300 M.
Day 16 : Paturi to Thouli camp
We will start Trek from Paturi to Thouli camp 3865 M, via Thouli top 3920 M in 7 to 8 hours.Night stay will be at Thouli camp, with bonfire and sweet music.
Day 17 : Thouli to Dagla Bugyal
A Bit ascend trek thel descend from Thouli camp 3865m proceeding towards the Dagla bugyal 3505m via Dwara Pass and Dwara Top at an altitude of 4150m It will take 6-7 hours to reach Dagla Bugyal, enjoy eye feasting view here with plain green meadows, which will satisfy your soul for sure. Spent overnight in Camps.
Day 18 : Daghla Bugyal to Mandani Bugyal
Daghala Bugyal is known for rare Himalayan herbs, if you have good knowledge of ayurveda, you will feel blessed to being here.We will see first view of Mandani valley from Daghla. Magnificent view of this flower valley feel us unique place in this Earth, the Mandani river flows between this valley which originate Mandani glacier.
Day 19 : Mandani Valley to Yembuk base
The trek ascends from here and goes up to at Yembuk Col Base camp (4130m). This will take about 6-7 hours. At such height its very cool at night, so fire some wood is best option, if possible.
Day 20 : Yembuk base to Mahapanth base
We will Cross the Yembuk Col Base camp to reach Mahapanth Col base camp at an altitude of 4450m, your waiting destionation. The trail will go through Bishali Col (4750m) to Mahapanth Col Base camp (4450m 2hrs) taking 7 to 8 hours.
Day 21 : Mahapanth base to Kedarnath
We will trek to Kedarnath (3380 M). Worship here for Lord Shiva, and take blessings with you. Night stay in Guest House in Kedarnath or camps available
