Great Experience in Uttrakhand Trip. Thank you, Dinesh, for the 4 days you showed us around a part of the Himalayas. We enjoyed the time and everything we saw and heard about it. It was awsome days. Thank you also for your support, regard and flexibility

An incredible trip that was both challenging and amazing all at once. My sister and I trekked with Dinesh on a very short three day trip that he created especially for us. We LOVED every minute of it!! This kind of excursion is not for someone looking for comfort or relaxation. It's hard work but worth every step. My advice: - If you get car sick bring medication. The drive to the bottom of the mountain is long and incredibly windy and treacherous. - We travelled the end of September. It was very cold. Make sure you pack enough warm clothes. - There is no hot water so make sure you have enough dry warm clothes with you. - The food is delicious home cooked Indian food. Everything is spicy. If you are a fussy eater bring protein bars and other snacks with you. A trip we will NEVER forget!

Best experience ever with Dinesh, our guide and Amit our driver. My sister and I met them near Rishikesh - they picked us up at our accommodation (Glass House on Ganges) and we set out for the drive to Chopra. It is about 6-8 hour drive depending on the weather, road works and whether or not you get a flat tyre! The mountain scenery is beautiful (the roads and traffic is quite scary when you are used to well maintained highways etc) - what an experience! Cows, monkeys, old men, women carrying grass for their cows, goats, donkeys, motorbikes, trucks, massive "tourist" buses and people walking and cycling all jostle for space on the run down roads. We stayed in a "Lodge" the Meadows (on a meadow) and had dinner made for us by the local people who were lovely. We only had a couple of days to spare and Dinesh was kind enough to tailor the trek etc to our timing. Got up at 4.30am the next morning to trek to Tunganath and then on to Chandrashila. The trail is paved and easy to negotiate, it just goes up up up. Walking poles are essential. We had perfect weather and could not have asked for a better experience. Stopped for sweet chai in the home of a local man (literally sat on his bed drinking tea) and came back down - the pictures tell the story. We stayed another night in the lodge (very cold overnight - below 0 degrees) and back on the road to Rishikesh. Dinesh spent half a day with us in Rishikesh, showing us around and helping us not get ripped off while shopping. He then took us to the Beatles Ashram which was simply incredible - they wrote 40 songs in 7 weeks here (most of the White Album) - run down and crumbling ruins, the murals are in tact still. Just mind blowing. We then met our driver again and he took us on the most scary road trip of my life back to Delhi! Better than catching a train at midnight but please do not expect a highway - the road is terrible at best :) All in all some of the best days I have ever experienced travelling and I would HIGHLY recommend Dinesh and Tour Uttarakhand..
